Most common key on RV's is the 751 followed by the 611. But my Monaco and now the primetime do not use that key for hatch or door access. Most RV's dont use a common key for door access that I have seen, but can for storage access.

Not to long ago I needed to recharge my phone, it was some what dark in the room. I tried to plug it in to the power strip and was having a lot of difficulty. I decided to turn on the light to see what the problem was..............Turns out I was trying to plug it in to the TV remote. I laughed out loud, sucks getting old.

Yes! The first and only time we have taken out our new-to-us TT, I was driving the TV and my husband was following in my van. He had a flat and I was left to try to navigate choosing and backing into a site. (We had a pup that was half as long as the TT.) Luckily, I found a drive thru site. I thought I was good to go! Ended up having to move twice until I could find a spot where the power cord would reach. Then, it turned out my water hose was not long enough. So, first night was no water and no heat because we also found out the regulator was broken. I boiled water on the charcoal grill the next morning for coffee! Talk about being ill prepared! Forgot to mention...setting up in the dark with two hungry kids under 8 and two big dogs. Honestly, even after camping for quite some time, it seems like most of first nights turn out similarly.😳

We have a seasonal spot 2 1/2 hrs from home and forgot the keys once. Our 03 Cougar uses the 751 keys to get into the storage so we borrowed the neighbors key and their 8 year old daughter crawled in and then up through the laundry hatch to get in and unlock the door from the inside for us. So from then on I bought one of those combination lock boxes that hooks onto our garden shed's door knob and now there is always keys at the campsite.

Forgotten necessities - I've topped them all
Ok, how about not unplugging the trailer from the garage and then Pulling away to reposition the trailer....... Yes I did that, pulled the converter out of the inside wall. Lucky it didn't go through the outside wall. Should have seen the face of service when I told them I needed a new wall under the bench for my old popup trailer. Tires rolled over the cable and had no trouble breaking through that 1/8 inch wall ......... Opps

Instead of forgetting to take something, I forgot to leave something, I had our first TT parked in our drive(on a slant). got ready to back the truck to hitch up. The TT started rolling forward and I was trying to hold it back. I forgot to leave the chocks in place until the trailer was on the ball. Cost me a new tongue jack.
