We picked up our 2008 Rockwood 5th wheel 21 days after it left the Factory. Spent a week slowly bringing it home.

It just smelled new to us! Never a problem, and Sweet Wife sometimes has a bout with athesma so she would probably have been sensitive to any kind of residual fumes. Again, no problems with any kind of out gassing.

Wow thanks for all of the quick insights on the formaldehyde. I am not concerned anymore....will just use lots of fresh air to keep the trailer well vented. What a great forum!
