Forum hiccups - "Remember Me" function
I have noticed for the last few days that the "Remember Me" function actually forgets me occasionally. Is it just me, or are others experiencing this? This function on other forums that I am suscribed to all are working normally. Maybe somebody over there is trying to tell me something

Works for me, too, Al.
Full Disclosure: I am embarrassingly unaware when it comes to computers.
Having said that, maybe something changed in your browser settings so that its not remembering your password or collecting cookies or something like that.

I haven't had that problem, but I am having an issue viewing pages on certain threads; meaning it won't allow me to.

"Remember Me" function does not work for me either. I have to enter user name and password every time. I didn't want to mention it because I really like this forum and I am new here.
I login on an iMac with O/S Lion, using Safari.
Would like to shorten the process if anyone has a solution I would love to know it.

I logout after being on the forum for a while and log back in when I come back. It sounds like maybe some of you just go to another site or leave the forum without logging out and thus don't have to log back in.
What is the proper way to proceed?
I always thought I should log out. Why would there be a "logout" tab otherwise?

the log out tab is used for people with multipele people using the same computer so they dont accidently post under your name versus their own or to keep the wife from looking thru your posts and such LMAO

"Remember Me" is a function of "cookies" on your computer.
Some virus scans (or using the "clean up" function of Windows) can flush out the cookie that "remembers" you. Maybe that is what you are seeing.

I don't log out, and therefore haven't had to log back in when returning.....except this morning. Caught me by surprise, but then I saw this thread, so maybe there's something going on "server side".
