Fr3 30Ds Coach batteries

Hi Everyone. I am a first time users to this Web Page, so please be patient if I seem a little slow.

The question that I have is about coach batteries. We recently had an inverter installed and now we realize that we need to add some more battery storage. At the moment we have 2 12 volt batteries. They are D27DC-160 Batteries. We are wondering what to add. We were originally told to add a couple of 6 volt deep cells in a series but now have been told otherwise. Also we have 2 solar panels and we plan to dry camp quite a bit.

Any ideas??

You really have no choice...or no good one. Add 2 more D27DC-160 12 volt units, or pull the existing ones out and replace them with 4 deep cycle 6 volt batteries. I prefer the latter, but my 335 came with 4 D27DC-160s and I ain't gonna throw all of them out.

Did your solar come from the factory? I am designing a system for my coach. What are they?
