uumm, that is 3.33 gallons per second. Not sure my 6.5hp well drilling pump moves that much water that fast. That means you can fill a 60 gallon tank in 18 seconds.

I'd be cautious about using anything other than an NSF 61 certified pump, hoses or containers. If you cook and wash dishes with the water, it really should be potable water. Using a backup RV pump seems to me to be the best option for transferring water.
