Freshwater vent clogged??

I noticed when I was dry camping several weeks ago, that when I tried filling the freshwater tank, it would not fill all the way. Water would come out the fill tube but indicator light only says 2/3rds. Also in past, I always heard a rushing or whistling sound as it was getting near full but now I don't hear a thing leading me to believe the vent's clogged? I know for a fact it's not full as I don't get near the water usage out of it.

If so, how can I unclog? there is a screen over the vent and i'm reluctant to poke a hole in it. Any suggestions?

That hose has a compression fitting if you are to get a hand on it. Then compressed are or a piece of tubing slid down the length. Thing is what clogs a fresh water hose inside a TT? possibly twisted or collapsed on itself from the pump? Doubt a mouse/bugs/small bird etc would get down there to clog it.

Open fill cap too so you don't blow it off

Same as Ken & Judy
I found that water gets into the vent hose and stays there because of a dip in how it's routed from the tank to the vent. It will then not allow air past and I couldn't fill past 2/3 tank
I made a small tube with a rubber fitting that fits tight over the vent screen and I just blow back into it to clear the water out. My tank will fill right up after doing this
