Desoto Falls

We get a newsletter almost every week from Desoto State Park. Over the weekends they have some great activities for kids, hiking, biking, canoeing just to name a few. And who knows, may actually run into one of the Alabama boys while over in Fort Payne. They too hang out around town. No doubt we will go over on the 28th for my Birthday, I get to chose where we go then. Would love to head down to Brunswick, GA., but I-75 south I cannot take, going or coming.
ps: Had a meeting with one of three way campers managers this morning, things are getting together for our FROG Georgia Group

Peco

We also purchased a Peco Product, Sunnybrook T/T FAS. She is sitting our lot in North Georgia, Talking Rock Creek RV Resort.
Will keep you posted via this forum on the progress of putting together a FROG here in Marietta, GA. at the Fair Grounds in the spring.
Thanks,

We would be interested in a FROG group in the Atlanta area. I do not see much activity here since 2013. Has interest waned and the group disbanded?

FR dealer? Three-Way Campers

We always really liked dealing with Three-Way Campers but when we look at the Internet, we find Peco listed as the only FR dealer in the Atlanta area. It would take an act of Congress for us to go there for service, but we can get to Three-Way fairly easily. We bought our FR Flagstaff V-Lite in North Carolina at Tom Johnson in Charlotte. They allowed us to trade in our big American Eagle motor home for our trailer. We love it and enjoy camping in it.

Normans Camper Sales on Austell Road in Marietta is also a FR dealer. Not as big as Three Way, father-son operation. Southern RV on Tara Blvd in Jonesboro is also a FR dealer. I missed the Tadpole Rally at Jim Miller Park last April, I was on a trip to Houston then, just got the TT. Look for information around the first of the year for a possible redo. The organizer was LKickLight on the forum. Low cost $15 for full hookup and only other expense was a pot luck diner to share. By the way you can camp at Jim Miller Park year around, just depends on what is going on in the park as to availability. May not be easy to get a reservation on week ends due to other park activity, shows, etc.

Thanks

I appreciate all the information that you and others shared. I hope that someone will remember to let me know if/when there are other FROG activities scheduled in the Atlanta/Marietta area.
