Front Receiver Hitch for Bike Rack

Has anyone put a front receiver hitch on their TV to carry bikes? I have a 2008 Suburban I was think about doing this to. Just wondering if they block vision at all. My spare tire on the back of my TT will not let me mount the bike rack on rear bumper. Any thoughts?

Hi,

I have used one for years. I'm tall enough that vision isn't a problem for me. But I do vaguely wonder each time I put them there if some cop might ticket me for obstructed line of sight from the cab.

Hasn't happened yet, though.
