Function of this drain valve under the TT
After returning from a camping trip I was lubricating the TT slide mechanisms and discover a drain valve under the bedroom slide (none under the LRm slide). I scoured both the hardcopy and the interactive FR owner's manual and did not find any mention of this drain valve (attached pic).
Does it drain oil if so where's the fill.
Any thoughts as to its function would be appreciated?
Enjoy your day.

Thanks for the quick reply....It is my understanding the fresh water tank drains are the blue and red capped pipes under the TT. This is our first TT so we are on a steep learning curve.

Not true on all units the two low point drains on mine are white as are the FW drain and overflow.

It "is" your water tank drain valve..... the blue and red drains are for the hot & cold 'water line' drains....low point drains.

What this really is for is when you come down South during the Summer and the only cool place outdoors you can find is under the trailer with the dogs, they have conveniently placed a spigot for sweet tea.

Whole new concept for the use of a Fresh Water Tank....pipe it to your lounge chair add a little Makers Mark to keep the pipes clean.

This is the fresh water tank drain, do not forget to open it during the winterizing procedure this fall/winter to empty any fresh water that might be left over! Low point drains for the rest of plumbing are typically red and blue plex tubing on other side of tt. My are below the hot water heater.

satdog01,
Thank you for the clarification. If FR manuals were written with this level of clarity and for the "new owner" questions like this would not be asked.
Again, thank you.
Enjoy the summer.

A TT tech said some slide mechanisms are lubricated via an oil res.
That's where the ? came from.
Enjoy the day.

Some slides are hydraulic and require an oil reservoir to operate the hydraulics but it dos not lubricate them. I would be careful of any advise from that tech.

Just a 'side note'... re the hydraulic rams...
My slides are hydraulic and I have been told to Never Lubricate the rams themselves.
[The 'rams' are the shinny rods that come out of the hydraulic cylinder]
They should be wiped down with a clean cloth only.
Any other lubes or contaminates could cause the seals to leak or fail.
