Furrion Camera

My rockwood 8311SS
came pre wired for a furrion back up camera. In search of where to buy one the cheapest I found was $500. Do you know where I might get one any cheaper?

I have thought about installing another brand in place of the furrion.

Any suggestions or hints you have would be helpful.

Have you looked at the "pre wiring"? It may only be a power wire for a wireless camera. Other cameras may work.

I picked up 2 back up cameras that are built into a license plate frame. And a 7 inch monitor for 150.00 on amazon. I mounted one on back of truck and one on rear of camper, I can toggle back and forth with the video switch on the monitor. I've and this set up for about a year now. And works great. Tao tronics is the brand. Very easy to install....

Furrion prewire is just power connection. I have one, on second one. Works better than the first but still not 100%.

What kind of problems are you having with the furrion? Has the dealer been of any help to you?
