Future problems

Why am I seeing so many campers not using weight bars or sway control? From one tons to 1/2 tons. Seen a 3/4'ton Chevy and ford pulling travel trailers with the tt nose down one even had a golf cart in the bed. With so many discussions on hear about proper towing weights ect ect I for one have owned Dulles to now a half ton and every truck I had I used weight bars and sway control with. Seeing more and more 3/4 tons improperly set up makes me wonder. While in Wally word today their was a family standing around their truck and trailer an f150 with a 27 foot puma with no weight bars or sway . I asked if they needed help and was told that they have severe sway problem and have had to replace two front tires in one day and were puzzled as to why. I informed them that their camper is nose down witch puts extra weight on the front axles causing heat and ware. He had no idea on what he needed. Told him camping word is only 6 miles back he said he will try to get to fla and have it looked at GOOD luck I said. Why whey Why 🚍👀

I agree. Camping right now saw a Ford Edge arrive pulling a high wall, 4 bikes in the back bumper wobbling all over Thule box on top, 2 more bikes on top. 5 people inside. Back cahow area jammed.

Really have to wonder how they make it.

I saw a Tahoe yesterday pulling a 30-ish footer. No WDH or sway, nose pointed at the sky. Now...I pull a similar sized trailer with a Tahoe BUT I've got the HD stuff with 3.42 gears and a 8500 lb tow rating and upgraded the tires on back. If, like I suspect, his was a standard model with 3.08 gears and a 5500 lb tow rating and that trailer weighs what mine does...he's several thousand pounds over tow rating and several hundred pounds over his hitch rating..probably without brake controller. If so, he's insane or just plain ignorant.
