Yes most of the trucks that style were all gas v-8s If I remember right it was a 460 badly underpowered for highway travel and a 2 speed axel

Definitely not a pickup, but unless it's been repowered, it will be gas powered. Would likely be either a V477 or V534 engine in a C900 in that era.
