so you have both a pair of hondas and a yamaha 3000 and and champion 3100 . good to be able to test them all . i use the 4000/3500 torun my 15000btu AC no issues . with the 3100 if you have other things on it may be an issue with a 13500 . but i've heard not seen others have no issues running the 13500ac with the champion 3100

At the RV plug as well as the other 2 110v outlets! All Champion Inverter Gen's I have checked had a "Floating Neutral" which gives a "Reverse Polarity" on the meter and Will NOT allow a EMS to be used as is! Youroo!!

I myself am going with 2 of the Honda 2000i. Just a personal thing with me. Honda is the quietest, least prone to breaking down, and yes, I know I'll get a lot of arguments. There is a Honda store everywhere in the U.S., and that gives me comfort. Plus, I can pick up the Hondas. Champion with the same wattage is too heavy for me.

I think that's true with all generators., may need one of these if you are going through an EMS. http://www.progressiveindustries.net/#!generator-plug/c1mwy

I also have the Yamaha with boost
Couldn't ask for better. I usually just idles. I resale is a consideration, the Yamaha or Honda will sell in the blink of an eye for a good dollar

Love my Champion 3100. It powers everything in my TT, even the AC.
