My yamaha EF2000IS won't start the 15K air conditioner. So it has to be bigger.

I have a 3500 which will run my AC just fine. Once it is running I can even run the micro! I'm sure that's really pushing it though.

You need to post the btu's of your a/c.
Is it a13.5k, 15k or something else?
If it is 13.5, the Yamaha 2400 will probably run it. That would be the minimum size.

I have the Boliy 3600 and it runs the 15K air conditioner. Mine is about 3 years old & no problems.
