Generator Question

Anyone have any experience with a Smarter Tools 2000 Invertor generator with a Yamaha engine? They are carried by Costco. Looking to only use the generator to keep my two batteries charged will camping off grid (like at a Natiional Park camp ground). I am not personally familiar with this brand.

this is a relatively new generator, the first inverter type from them, i think.
it's a Chinese-made one that is also sold at Home Depot and Sears.
even though the engine is a Yamaha, it can't be paralleled, like the Yamaha 2000w.
