Generators-particularly Champion

I have a 21FB trailer and want to charge my batteries when dry camping. My questions is, if a have a Champion 2000 invert generator and want to charge my two batteries should I:
A. Charge the batteries using Champions supplied 12 volt charging chord?
B. Charge using the trailer 30 amp chord and the 30 to 20 chord adapter?
C. Charge using the Champion 120 volt plugin and a stand alone battery charger?

B. Let your camper's converter do the charging.

Either b or c.
Depending on the size of the on board converter or the external battery charger. Whichever is faster.

Try B first.

We've been using our Honda to recharge the batteries, for 10 years now.
We use the converter to recharge with no issues.
Never needed a separate charger.

All depends on your size of battery bank, and size of converter.

Small converter and big bank will require longer run times.

I have 450ah bank, but 125amp inverter/charger.

B or C depending on which one charges faster and which one you have along.

I think that the 12 volt outlet was put on there as a convenience if you needed to charge up a vehicle battery and did not have access to a regular battery charger. I can tell you from experience it is not very strong and will take a looooong time to charge up a battery.
