Getting pounded by Nemo

Man it's coming down out there right now. Wonder what it will look like in the AM.

I've stated before it is not true unless there's pics!

i remember one winter storm in '78 in my neck of the woods. so dam cold and soooo much snow. they kept saying 2-4, then 4-8 etc until they finally said, when it stops we will measure and let you know. i think we got 21 inches that storm with -40 windchill.

i walked into air force recruiters office and when asked where i would like to go, i replied someplace warm. okinawa first and then southern california to finish my time. i got my wish for warm places.

They said earlier on The Weather Channel that there was thunder and lightening embedded in some of the snowstorms in NY. I've seen that once before in St. Louis in 1982. We got two back-to-back 12" snowstorms out of that one.

That looks like Upper Michigan some days recently. On my school bus run, I have side streets that are one way and the snow banks chest high. But we have the equipment and manpower to clean it. It's the Yooper way,

Holy crap! That's a lot of snow. The cleanup will be slow from all that.

So the snow has stopped (and yes we are behind on snow fall and water levels).... 38" of snow with 4-5' drifts. The real problems may come on Monday when temps will be 45ish and rain is expected.

Looks like my yard too. I measured 24" in the driveway and got my plow truck stuck twice in the driveway. I had to pile 5 ft of snow in front of the Beast so it looks like April until I get it out.
