Getting through my to-do list!

Our story begins in Oct, 2017 when we purshased a new 2018 315TBH8 Cherokee Arctic Wolf. This was a huge step up from our old 07 Mallard and we fell in love instantly.
We didn't get to use it last fall and our first trip this year wasn't till June.
During this trip which was only an hour from home, our LG fridge partially climbed out of its home, detaching the "lock" mechanism and emptying most of the fridge contents onto the floor.
We began to make a list of the small items besides this that we needed to deal with.
I'm a mechanic by trade and really felt better about sorting out all the bugs on my own rather then back and forth with the dealer.
To date we have figured out and repaired
- leaning tower of LG
- scrambled satellite/co-ax cables
- damaged (torn) furnace duct work
- rear fold down storage rack. (Simply assembled wrong)
- poor to zero a/c flow to front of trailer and icing up of evaporator
- squeaky and visibly sagging floor in forward bathroom
- bathroom door hinge missing and not closing
There is no way to ever make the supplied BBQ work as designed at the rear outdoor kitchen so I just swapped the regulator out from my portable Weber for the quick connect line that the supplied unit came with.
This forum pointed me in the right direction with a few of these items and I consider it an invaluable tool moving forward.
We just did a 10 day 4000km (2500 miles) trip to well north of Thunder Bay On. with zero issues and I really feel fixing these items ourselves makes us like this 5th wheel even more.
Being in the automotive business it is confusing to me how people will run back to the dealer about every squeak and rattle and in the trailer industry these are supposed to all understandable hiccups??
Looking forward to our next tour in mid August to Bristol Tennessee for a race now that we seem to have all the hiccups cured.
Thanks again to all the people here who helped us without realizing they did with advice and tips.
