Check your first entry. 9600 lbs. payload seems extremely high for a 1500. You can find that weight on the tire loading sticker on your drivers side door jam. My for F150 with max tow only has 1704 lbs. payload.

Yes thank you that makes a huge difference. Still a big gap though 6900-10400. So the ones we found we like we're around 8k or so, so is that to heavy?

Is that 8K dry weight list on the TT or is Gross Weight which includes dry/shipping weight plus Cargo Carry Weight? A 8K dry weight can easy become 9k to 9.5k when loaded ready to camping.

The one I like the most is UVW of 6899 and a CCC of 2601.

Just my thoughts - I wouldn't purchase a TT over 30 foot as my first TT towing with 1/2 ton truck. You are towing a TT that acts like a huge sail with very light truck. There are a lot people doing it but I won't even attempt a 37.5 foot TT with 1/2 ton.

I drive a 2003 Silverado 1500, with a 5.3L / 3:73, with all the bells and whistles, towing pkg, HD Springs, etc., and I would never consider pulling anything that long. I know my truck is light and could handle a bit more than I pull, but I'm not chancing it traveling the open roads and the uninvited occasional cross winds.
With the TT I have now, this would be tops for me to pull with a 1500. Just my opinion, of course. White knuckling your trips aren't much fun!

There are only three weights on the truck door sticker that mean anything. One..the max gross weight for the entire vehicle; two..the max weight for the front axle; and three..the max weight for the rear axle. Any published "empty" weight is a fantasy number and means absolutely NOTHING. The same three numbers are shown on the trailer sticker and its "empty (or base, or whatever you want to call it)" weight also means nothing.
My Ram 1500 publishes a maximum total weight of 6,900 pounds. When I put the truck on the scale I get an actual base weight of 5,550 pounds. That's with a full tank of fuel, all the stuff normally carried (i.e., the toolbox and its contents installed in the truck bed), myself and one passenger. That means I have an actual useful load remaining of 1,350 pounds.
Then, I weighed the entire rig on a Cat scale with the trailer configured for normal travel I get a combined weight of everything of 12,350 pounds. The truck front axle weight is 2,780, the rear axle is 3,810 and the trailer axle(s) 5,760. That tells me the truck weight configured for trailering is 6,590 pounds, leaving me 310 pounds for other stuff. The total trailer weight is way below its maximum of 9,800 pounds and the weight on the axles and tires (e-load) is also well under maximum of 5,080 pounds each.
My only concern, and it's just something to watch, is the rear axle weight is within 100 pounds of maximum. I say it's something to watch because I doubt I'll add anything else to the bed of the truck. My trailer is a toy-hauler so all the extra stuff is loaded about 90% behind the axle and 10% in front of the axle.
This weighing was done without the Harley loaded. When loaded, the front tire of the MC is directly over the trailer rear axle so the majority of the weight is rearward. I'm taking the rig back to the Cat scale this week and re-weigh it with the Harley on board. I'm not sure but I think the total truck weight will be slightly lower because of the lower hitch weight.

While towing capabilities are very important. You should ask yourself what kind of camping will you be doing the most. As say full hookups, include electric, water, and sewer so the size of on board water tanks are not that important. If are boondocking without any of these services, tanks sizes become much more important. Just something to think about. Planning ahead with everything you do with an RV will save you from wasting money down the road.

I will add to above - If you have small children you need windows on the door side of your camper. We don't and it would really hard keeping your eye on small children if you don't.

I bought a 30 ft Salem bunk house. Beautiful trailer but even with a good hitch with sway control it was a bear to handle. I believe the tongue weight of 1100 lbs. was a huge contributing factor. 6 months later I traded it (that hurt) for a 27 ft trailer with a loaded tongue weight of 700 lbs. Night and day difference. I had to kick my brother out but he got his own trailer. All is well.
