Has any installed combination locks on the main door if so what brand and how do you lock them, we are thinking of doing that.

Which ones have the best secondary (key) locks? Does it have the same door lock and deadbolt, where the regular door lock can be opened by any RV master key? I was told Primetime uses the same deadbolt locks for about every 40th trailer. Not too bad, but still not wonderful. I'd like to have that number a lot less.

Yes, I know if someone wants in the trailer, they'll get in. However, if they break in, at least I have proof someone broke in. If they use a key it is much harder to prove to the insurance companies.

I installed the RV Lock. It fit perfectly and I was very pleased with the quality and the heavy duty feel of it. Works with remote, touch pad, or key. My wife and I love it.

Have RVlock.Go to their website and register and they will send discount coupons. Screaming deals on black friday so if you can wait. I bought the main door lock with the built in key pad. Works nice and nice to have the key fobs. Only thing I cant speak to is durability as just put it on this year.

RV locks

It's true that the locks from either FIC or Global have only 50 different key codes but the locks can be opened easily by someone that wants too. Always best to use the deadbolt to lock door because that doesn't have a master key to open it like the paddle handle does. You can also have a Locksmith recode your lock to some other bitting not company keying.
It's true that keypad locks are out that will be convenient for you to use and don't have a master key

We also went with RVLock. We bought and installed v3, because it has a remote keypad. I placed the keypad so we don't need to climb the steps to enter the combo, come back down the steps to open the door, and then climb back up to enter.

Retro fitted with RV Lock. Love it except for one minor detail. Key fob gets pushed accidentally in my pocket on occasion. Either locks the door when open, or unlocks when locked. Still love the setup. Don't have to keep getting the key out for my wife who usually doesn't have her key.

Ah yes that neat little thing has sensitive buttons, we only use that when we are not holding onto the keys, otherwise we just use the combo buttons on the lock

I just installed one of the v.3 locks. Like not having to carry a key all the time. I do have an issue though. The inside handle is binding on my screen door. Looking at the the lock I took off, the handle used to open the door ends right at the pivot point. The RVLock has about a 1/8 inch lip that goes past the pivot. To completely close the door, I have to push the screen door past this lip. When opening the door, the screen door is stuck to the main door because of this lip. I should have taken a couple of pictures, and if anyone needs one, I'll try and get some.
I'm thinking I may need to grind down the RVLock to remove the lip. Anyone else had this problem?
