Good Sam TravelAssist
Just wondering other members' thoughts on this.. Is it worth it? Any positive or negative feedback? Seems like a decent deal and peace of mind for $80 a year..

When I started having serious heart issues we purchased the plan. Fortunately we haven’t had to use it, and I hope we never do, but it does give peace of mind.

I guess they're sending them out to everyone in Canada (at least) again - I got one in the mail Thursday and its in the round-file already. Keep in mind that this is not medical insurance (still need something like MediPac for that) or roadside assistance (still need Good Sam or CoachNet roadside assistance for that). It only covers those 4 things highlighted in pink.

I have the Plan, It's piece of mind if you have a medical problem. After my open heart surgery in Jan. I decided to get it. If traveling at least they will get my RV home if something should occur, being my wife can't drive it or should I say really doesn't want to learn. Also with there help to get you to the needed hospital for what ever you need no matter where, even if they have to fly me home. For 79.00 bucks it worth it to me, but everyone is different....

Ditto! My wife doesn't like to drive the truck so there is no way she's going to haul the fifth wheel back home. We do some snowbirding and like to travel so it's nice to know Good Sam will get my fifth wheel back no matter how far we are from home.

Had it for several years and thankfully never needed it. With a bad heart it's worth knowing they'll take care of the trailer. My wife pulls it with no hesitation, but if I have a 'problem she'll have enough to worry about without the rig.

Congrats Wildcats are very nice units, hope you enjoy it. It might have been hidden someplace but good that you have it, lets hope you never need it. I'm not sure but I think the CEO of CW and GS is the same person as much as CW pushes it...But once again Congrats on the unit....

I didn't see anything in pink in your post? I'll attach my policy and what they will do. You are correct you need roadside they will not do that. You will also have to pay your DR bill same as if you got hurt and went to the DR. You can not beat this anywhere for $79.00 bucks.

I agree 100%, we bought it as soon as I retired in 2006 and bought another camper. Wouldn't be without it.

DW just bought it for us so I put those orange cones back up....no training her to drive the rig....she said she could find enough pocket change to cover that premium each year.
