Late follow up-- I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here as this thread is sorta finished.... but

One reason we liked AAA was they still offer free paper maps, trip-tics and we really like their State by state Tour books. DW would sit in the co-pilot seat and scan the Tour book for tid bits in/around our next stop. When I called Coach Net to ask about their "personal trip" advice they admitted they simply took your itinerary and ran it thru Google Maps and mailed or e-mailed the results. No tour books and no real maps. Yeah I'm still old school.... something else to consider when deciding which service to choose.

Has anybody had any experience with any of these service providers in Canada? I've had CAA (Canadian version of AAA) on my vehicles for years but never had anything for my TTs. Upgrading CAA Plus to CAA Plus RV is $30/year.

I have AAA (AMA here in Canada) and have utilized their trip tik service for every long road trip I ever have taken. Last summer I had one done up and it seems they have changed their service. It was basically a Google map cut into small chunks with the same route description as Google. The maps themselves had no context and I often had to go back several pages just to figure out what part of the map I was looking at. There was no additional route information and none of the usual data such as points of interest, population, blow up routes for congested areas. I was quite disappointed. I ended up using a large map and GPS for the whole trip.

Looks like GS EMS is the one to stick with, used them a few times. Mostly positive. Devil you know is better than the one you don't ! Not worth looking to switch!
Thanks for the responses.
