Nothing broke......... basically it hyper-extended the ball/socket joint..... popped it off.
after the wreckers set it up , I hooked back up to it and pulled it to the storage facility.
A dealer in Billings MT told me that virtually all frame manufactures void the frame warranty when using the "ranch hitch" adapter.

I added saftey chains on my Reesegoosebox, just for a little added security. My truck has the set up from Ford.





Dont mind the pin box cover, it wasnt put on straight from the factory, and I didnt want to drill more holes in the trailer.

No one asked me.... If I were using an adapter... it would be that Reese goose box... it looks good and doesn't appear to change the geometry of the pin-box like the one i had
