Goshen trip

I anticipate a trip to Goshen. I live in Branson, MO

Flying from Springfield, MO...where would I fly into? What would be the closest hotel to the Georgetown factory / offices.

My coach needs to go up for repairs...they will come pick it up...but I would have to fly up and get it...and drive rig back home.

Has anybody done this kind of trip?

Thanks for your help!

I haven't done this, but we live close to the area so can respond to the airport question. The closest airport is the South Bend Regional Airport. Elkhart/Goshen is about 45 minutes away from there. I can't recommend a hotel, but suggest asking Forest River for suggestions.

Good luck.

I need a total roof replacement...fiberglass is cracked Nd bubbled. I suppose it got thru factory and dealer inspection...we bought it in July 2012...,and have never looked on roof until we lost sewer cap...and ther it was.

Nobody wants to step up...not theirproblem!
FR will fix...needs coach for. Month or more. We have to remove our stuff...
I'm just hurt...disappointed and mad.

Forrest River is sending a pick up service to pick up our rig next week. It took lots of telephone calls...
They should have it less than a month. We are headed home now...have been out 3 weeks.

Tried to work with dealer...no luck. He wanted a bunch of money to trade us up to a 2013 or 2014...that didn't have any more options than ours. Decided...we know what we have now...so if they replace the roof...and fix the smaller stuff ...This would be the best bang for our buck!

We have looked at lots of other coaches...there are things we really like about this rig, and some we don't!

The process with FR and dealer has been a long one...since we bought it, It we came came out ok...
Apprill and Dan are good at their jobs...and I am sure they take a lot of flack c c

big Question...do any of you have scooters or electric bicycles you use around the park areas. Too old and too tired to pedal!

I think there will be plenty of golf carts available. Just flag one down.

I think psgrandpa1 is serious about wanting a means of transportation around the campground.

If you get FT Turbs as a chauffer, it may not be fun, but I guarantee it will definitely give you a thrill!

We haul two 50 cc scooters with us on our longer trips. They work well for us and allow us to travel farther from the campground if desired. Just be aware that some state campgrounds won't let you ride them in the campground.

Good luck with the repairs on your unit. Hope all goes well.

I have seen a few of these and they look pretty functional The Cricket SW3 cricket sw3. Like some one mentioned may state and federal parks only allow them if you are disabled or have a handicap sticker.
