I finally got it covered.Since the front is rounded there was some extra cover so i covered hitch and propane and bungeed it down.

Good Job! it looks like you took your time and did it right. I have the same cover on my fiver and it's paid for itself several times over.

Thanks!Took a little while but we finally got it and no more worry for winter.Already counting for spring although I think we all are except those in lucky warm climates.

Nice fit and getting all the slack tightened down so the wind won't beat your cover against the sides. Got mine winterized but I still need to pull it out behind the barn and put the cover on her. That's when I consider the official start of winter!

Are these breathable covers? A fellow I know did his TT all up nice and tight but the cover was not breathable. When he opened things up in the spring the whole inside was mold.

I like to be able to have a peek inside every week or so checking for mice problems, water leaks, etc.

I have never seen a covered trailer on a dealers lot yet. I admit though, I wrap the air conditioner with a tarp to keep the blowing snow out of the vents.

It looks as though he has an ADCO cover which are breathable. These covers also have side, zippered, access panels which make it very simple to get inside anytime you want. These covers are well worth the money IMHO.

Mine is a CalMark cover and it is breathable. The door access panel allows me to get inside easily which I do every once in awhile just to check on things and make me wish for spring!

I've already tried the access zippers.Very easy undo a few snaps and some Velcro.

Looks like you did a nice job covering the trailer...This was our first year with the Adco cover. We're pleased with the quality of the cover and hopefully, we were able to get all of the sharp edges covered to prevent any damage.

I just bought the same exact cover for my TT and it is well made. It is breathable and has side vents and looks like it will be a great investment. I like the lil toss across weights clips Adco included to make a one man operation easier. I may have to snug the cover up a bit I have noticed wind bellowing underneath it a lil bit.

The included weight clips made things easier. My wife, on one side of the trailer, would toss the weighted clip across the ground beneath the trailer to me, on the other side. Simplified things greatly!

I've looked at this thread but still don't know if its good or not to cover a TT over the winter. We live in Western Michigan where winters can be long and cold. We also just purchased our first TT (F.R. Roo) this past summer. Historically we have always kept our pop up camper I the garage so we haven't had to concern ourselves with outdoor storage or the need to cover it. I'd welcome any info on the pros and cons of covering a TT in winter conditions that produce cold weather and a lot of snow! Thanks

I live in Ohio and had the same concerns last year as what your having now. I heard some say that the cover can cause damage to your paint while others never had any problems with their covers. I bought the ADCO cover last year and covered my Mini-Lite. I couldn't be happier with that decision.
I padded all sharp corners and cinched the straps down tight and didn't have the first problem with the cover or the TT. This year I had an RV carport put up and then closed in the back and one side myself, but I still put the cover on just for the added protection. There's no way that I could be happy leaving my TT sit outside without covering it. This is just my opinion so take it for what it's worth.

Can't tell from the pictures. Looks like you did a great job, but does the camper have downspouts? If so hopefully you protected the cover from them. Last year we covered our camper for the first time and by spring we had holes where the down spouts are on one side (more exposed side, more wind). This year we wrapped the down spouts with bubble wrap, some people use tennis balls with an X cut into them and place them over the down spouts. Our ADCO cover works great. Helps protect the camper during the winter, helps keep it clean, protects the roof, etc.

We put the tennis balls on our downpouts...cut the "X" on the tennis ball and cut a hole in the bottom of the ball to allow for any drainage. Since this was our first time, it'll be interesting to see how the cover worked when we remove it next Spring.

I've also heard about some damage due to rubbing. That’s why I went with the Goldline cover rather than the Adco. I've read too many complaints about the Tyvek on the Adco's doing this type of damage. But for every complaint about Adco I read a positive review. Anyway, I decided to go the Goldline route due to that and the warranty. Adco Designer series is 2 yr verses 5yr for Goldline.

Like Traveltracer I use tennis balls and noodles with a little piece of duc tape.

We just bought our 5th wheel in the Fall and just purchased our cover with a new Adco cover. Covered the downspouts with tennis balls, and padded the steps with an old noodle. It was a bit of a challenge being up on the roof and trying to figure out the front and the back of the cover and unravel it for the first time. The whole process took about an hour or so to get it down and secured in place.

We have pine trees which drop sap and needles at various times of the year. Also, the hardwood mulch releases little black spores, which LOVE to attach themselves to any surface. So, having the cover was a no brainer for us.
