Got the camping blues

I woke up not feeling so great on the day I was to depart for my camping trip. I was light headed & a bit dizzy so I cancelled my plans. This was a short trip but I have camped enough while not feeling well and it's not much fun especially since I'm a solo RVer.

This morning when I woke up feeling good again and I have the camping blues. Now I wished I had kept the reservations for today. I can still picture myself watching the waves hit the sand while sitting at the campfire.

I'm keeping an watch for availability in case someone else cancels their reservations.

Being sick while camping is no fun. Years ago, my wife and I were tent camping in Florida. I got sick and it was too hot to sleep in the tent so I napped on the rec hall couch for a couple of days until I felt better. My wife sat and knitted. It was a memory, but not a particularly pleasant one.

I have camped a couple of times while sick & I agree that it's not pleasant. Being an solo RVer there is also concern about being able to break camp and making it home safely.
