Grand Canyon

Earlier this week, we returned from spending a week at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We "boondocked" in Kaibab National Forest, adjacent to the Park. When we first returned, I posted a few thumbnails in the Boondocking Section of the Forum as we had "boondocked" for the trip. I have now had time to go through the photographs and post them on my SmugMug site, so I thought I would share them here with you on the Forum. For those of you which have been to the Canyon in the past, I hope it makes you recall your experiences and inspires those who may have a desire to visit in the future.

I hope you enjoy a few glimpses of our week at the Grand Canyon. No photograph can capture the size, magnitude, beauty and experience of the Grand Canyon. They say that about 80 to 90% of those which visit the Grand Canyon, will go to the South Rim. Of the small numbers which go to the North Rim, most will confine themselves to Bright Angel Point, Angel's Window, Cape Royal and Point Imperial. We go off the beaten path to explore Crazy Jug Point, Parissawampitts Point, Point Sublime and Toroweap. Enjoy!
