Gray is black!!!!

my third trip out in my new Sunseeker MBS. On the second day may gray water was over full! But may problem was the gray valve was open. After and hour of troubleshooting the problem I notice my valve cables were crossed. So my black valve was gray and gray was black. So that was not good meaning my black valve was open both times during my trip not my gray. So I just switched out the valve handles.

Next time that you are camping, I would fill black tank with water and drain to make sure all solids are out unless you have a black tank flush and you have used it.....

If you use your toilet for #2, you should give it a very thorough flushing, maybe even do a RV Digest-It treatment.

And next trip out have plenty of liquid in that tank so it swooshes around in travel, then dump when you arrive at your destination.

Gray to full to finish trip

If your Gray water fills before you trip end, witch is offend the case. transfer it to the black tank and enjoy the rest of trip, you put cap on dump valve open gray water valve wait till everything fill up then open Black valve and let gravity fill black tank then close black tank valve then gray, Only Make sure the gray is fuller than black otherwise the reverse is going to happen

This happend to a friend of mine on a brand new Montana...mine has a flush port, but I all ways make sure I leave 1/4 tank or so of water in the all the tanks when I travel, then dump them as soon as I setup. That way the sloshing around breaks up everything. The kitchen sink tank all ways has some nasty stuff come out.
