Technically not camping, but we took the TT out onto the beach for the day this past Saturday. Had a blast. Used the TT to block the wind and had a fire going in the flame genie for about 7 hours straight.
We haven't had our TT for very long, but it was on our bucket list to take it onto the beach, even though the stretch of beach isn't known for people bringing their TT's onto.
Was I scared of getting stuck? Heck yeah, but the sand was pretty packed and I came prepared to air down if needed with some other recovery gear. Will definitely be doing it again.
Beach is Gearhart, just south of Fort Stevens State Park off the Oregon Coast.
