I can understand why you took 150 pictures, the ones you shared with us are beautiful. I hope your foot heals fast so you can get back out there and enjoy yourself

Beautiful. We lived in Northern Idaho for about 6 years. I will have to keep this spot you were at to visit. I have not been to the Saw Tooths. When is a good time to see the Salmon run?

Gorgeous! Now on my list. Headed to Kentucky in 10 days to meet some family in Daniel Boone national forest but thinking the cooler less buggy area in Idaho would be preferable. 😉

I was there about 33 years ago, oh wait, we never left. I have been there several times, but just got to Bruneau sand dunes last year. Good Pics, hope the healing is doing well.

McCall

McCall in the middle of the week is also wonderful. We inherited some property in McCall from her dad, it is a block and half off of the lake. I spent the week before the forth of July up there and did not want to come home. But She-who-must-be-obeyed changed my mind.

The salmon run can start any time. It usually is at it peak end of August I think.

1st visit to Idaho back in June. Will get up there again ! ! Spent most of our time in Arco for Creator of the Moons National Park. Mountain View RV park had the best rib dinner and over the top Huckleberry Cheesecake. Also stayed just south of Salmon along the river. Fell in love with Idaho ! !

Beautiful place! My wife and I have had the pleasant opportunity to spend a few weeks in Sandpoint Idaho several years ago. My son worked at Coldwater Creek. He has since moved on but we still yearn to get back up there. Some of the most beautiful country I have traveled. We didn't have the 5th wheel then. We are trying to figure out how to get back. For us pulling from Kansas City takes at least 3 days out and 3 back. Would like to not make it a run and gun trip. Maybe when I retire??

Thanks for the memory's/photo's!!

Since I retired it has given me the chance to do a few trips that would have not been possibly a few years back. When the boss gets a chance to retire I am sure that we will do more. This spring we made a 4000 mile trip out to Iowa so that Anita could meet her Japanese pen pal of 43 years. Did it in a two week time period....not long enough.
