Grey water not draining!

I have a brand new Salem light tt. 2015. First road trip. Grey water tank won't drain. Do I need to find RV place to get fixed? Or simple solutions.

Might be a (Floating Disk) leads that way since it is (Brand New). The repair will be (More Pleasant) than if it were the Black tank! Youroo!!

Sounds like a valve problem. Do you get any resistance when you pull the grey tank valve?

No resistance. Trying to find a repair place on the way to Casper wy right now. Murphy's law it would go out while on first trip and not during its testing trip

Dumb question, are you sure there is anything in the tank? Could be the valve was partially open and it drained on it's own.

Check valve stem, maybe it came unscrewed out of the valve. Should be a little resistance pulling the gate open.

This may sound stupid but out trailer had two gray tanks. They only showed us one. The other one is tucked behind the wheel well with a separate lever.

This may not be helpful, but I had a Thor Hurricane that had a valve on the opposite side from the dump valves. This valve emptied the grey tank to the other side of the RV. If we didn't open this valve, nothing happened on the other side when grey water valve was opened.

The operator cable probably pulled out of the valve. It is held in place with a set screw. May have to open up a belly pan to get to it. May have to replace cable
