Grey Wolf 26 bh TV is Silverado 1500 LT.

We have not bought the TT YET but plan on it today. The sales person assures us that we can tow with vehicle. Our truck payload, with running numbers, seems to be able to handle it, especially with the equalizer WD hitch.
I am still nervous though.. We gotta go to CA (we live in NE) to visit family.

You need to post specs of truck and trailer.

Payload capacities
GVWRs
Engine/rear end ratio/cab size/factory tow package or not

Grey Wolf 26 bh TV is Silverado 1500 LT.

We have the 26 bh. Had a 08 Sierra 4.8 l. It did the job but I kept weight to a minimum. Longest trip I took was maybe 1.5 hrs. The dealer assured us it was fine but I can tell u it was way to close and over the threshold. I bought a new 17 Silverado crew with tow package and wd hitch that can handle just over 9000lb now. So even with say 1000lb of gear and family in the truck I am much more at ease and you can feel that it is towed better. Hope this helps. By the way we love this trailer. Very open and no slides to give any issues was why I bought it. Good luck. Just remember these guys are just looking to make the sale.

You didn't post the most important spec, payload capacity.
Trucks will always run out of payload capacity WAY before coming close to towing capacity.

I thought I put it
1689 lbs

Yeah after doing tons of research the towing weight means nothing if it exceeds the payload capacity.
We'll have 2 adults and 2 kids.
We travel light and will travel with empty tanks

Until last year I had a F150 with specs like yours. I also used an Equalizer 4pt hitch to tow my 26BH. It will do it just fine. You may find it a bit lacking in power at times but none the less it will do it. Big hills will make you want a bigger truck. lol...

Remember to load your weight over the axles and forward of the axles. Resist the urge to put a big load under the bunks. Make a few trips until you get the weight placement just right. You will be able to tell by how it tows and handles big trucks passing you on the interstate.

The biggest improvement in my towing experience was using an Equalizer 4pt hitch. I no longer had white knuckles and my butt stopped leaving hickies on the seat...

Good luck!

I pull a 22rr without about the same specs.
2015 Silverado Z71 double cab
5.3l
3.42 rear end
trailer package
equalizer hitch
I think the max trailer weight was around 9800lbs.
Even with my Goldwing in the trailer, I'm not close to 9800.
