Happy Thanksgiving/Spring 2014

As my DW and I prepare for tomorrow's feast, I would like to wish all my friends who enjoy their Forest River RV as much as we do ours, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

That being said, looking forward to camping 2014! Already have booked Memorial Day weekend at Cowensque Lake COE, Tompkins PA. I find my mind wandering at work about where, when, different for next year. Our trip to Traverse City, Michigan, July, August, September after the kids are back to school. Different local state parks too! Forty miles north instead of forty south for 10 day in June, commute to work. What about South Dakota? Are we going to make next year, when if we do? Wow! This off season stuff is hard work! I am already so busy before I know it the season will be here. Gosh can't wait, bet the RV can't either! Gets lonely in storage and no power.

Well got to get back to that holiday prep, my mind digressed as we prepare for a great holiday season. ENJOY TO ALL,

Happy Thanksgiving to all at this great forum. We are celebrating this year with two of our sons and their families as part of our eleven-week camping trip. We will post the details after the first of next year when we return home.

Happy Thanksgiving!

"Biff" (TV) and "Francis" (TT) are hitched up and loaded down...sitting in the driveway (still hooked up to shore power...way too cold) and ready to pull out in the morning.

We're spending T'giving with "family of choice" this year...headed to Hot Springs, Lake Catherine at Catherine's Landing RV Resort. Our friends are meeting us there....coming from Texas.

Yeah, we're headed *North* (SMH) where it's even colder. Just making sure the bar is stocked well...(human antifreeze yanno) and bringing cards.

One more trip after this one....in a couple of weeks....with wmtire then she's going back to the dealer for a list of warranty work....gonna let 'em keep 'er as long as they need 'er, then bring 'er home. Not sure we'll even winterize 'er then....just keep 'er hooked up to shore power with heat (electric fireplace) set at around 56 degrees. May open the low point drains and add a small ceramic heater back in the bedroom/bathroom area.

We keep 'er right in the back yard so it's easy to just go visit now and then.

Jonesin' for spring already!

Started cooking this morning at 4 am gotta smoke a couple of turkey's and a big brisket for tomorrow. It's a toasty 16 degrees this morning, things should cook nice and slow.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Hope you all get to enjoy time with family and friends.
