Have you heard of a Boliy Generator?
I have been looking at buying a portable generator for my 5th wheel.
I need 3,000 watt to 3,600 watt and do like the new inveter types.
Alll these have Electric start
Honda EU3000IS $2000 plus - 135lbs
Yamaha EF3000iSEB $2,000 plus - 147lbs
Boliy Pro3600SiE $1,119 lightest - 70 lbs
Here is some facts
I know Honda is the best but I must consider the amount of time I will use it in the the formula.

you might want to do some research there.

It seems everyone loves the Boliy for the price and runs great.
I may just buy it from Texas for $1,119 with free shipping.

I think it should be as good as any Iggy.I guess the big thing is can you get service for it if need be.

Well I finally bought a Honda EU3000is with electric start.
It is slightly used in perfect new condition with less tha 10 hrs run time.
It was a great deal and couldn't pass it up from a friend of mine that bought it new in June 2011 thinking he needed but then bought a cmaper with a generator built in.
I figure going with an ole reliable Honda is the only way to go. I'm happy.

Boliy Generator
Even though you already found a Honda, I thought I would chime in just in case someone stumbles across this later on. I bought one of the Boliy 3600 SIE generators. Paid about 900 with free shipping. It has electric start, and wll run my A/C with no problem, even in the "Econ" mode. I love it for the price.
I, like most would rather have a Honda just for the name and reputation, but I will use this only once maybe twice a year. I find it to be of good quality and haven't had any issues so far. I may consider a different more pricey model if I were to use it more.
I will add that I had some issues when I first used the generator, but that was my own ignorance, not a fault of the generator. I just had too many things running in the camper while trying to run the A/C. Once I turned off the hot water heater, and switched the fridge to gas, this thing powered my A/C for 4 hours without any trouble.

You won't be disappointed in the Honda Iggy. We are going on 3 years with our EU3000is and love it. Just make sure you keep Stabil in the gas or you favourite fuel stabilizer and it will start even in the winter. It is an amazing gererator for sure.

I have the electric start boliy.
Haven't used it much. But it starts right up and will run my A/C (with Econo off).
My requirements were, #1 able to run the camper A/C. #2 less than 100lbs. #3 Electric start.
The Boliy fit the bill and I'm glad I bought it. It's also nice to know I have something to run the fridge and deep freeze at the house should the power go off for any length of time.

I was considering a Honda until I got talking to a man at The Grand Canyon, we were standing next to his Yamaha 3000 watt and I could hear the smaller Hondas running on the other side of the loop over the Yamaha we were standing next to.

Many don't know that the sound increases as load increases.
If a gen is running with no load in Economy mode it is the quietest.
If it has 80% or more load it will be at least 10 dB's louder.
So in most cases they probably had different loads.
Yamaha and Honda as well as other similiar inverters are all about the same sound levels.
