It was good to hear from you. Ya know all of us, and not just you have to
keep pushing ahead. I myself went into the hospital on March 1st. My heart went into A Fib. Top of the heart not contracting like it should. They were not able to convert me so I had to spend four days in the hospital here, then transfer to St. Vincents in Ohio for a heart catherization. Heart is clear of any obstructions but now I have to remain on cardiac drugs for the rest of my life! I HAVE plans on taking the nurse enterance test for nursing school as I am already a Certified Nursing Assistant. (Sure you have met some of us recently) My exam was already scheduled for May 1, 2009. Please note the HAVE that is bolded above. I have plans as opposed to had plans because I have realized that a nurse provides care because they want to help people. I can not help people If I give up so I made the decision when I left the hospital that I will continue and will not give up until I am physically unable to do the job at hand.

Side note: I don't know about you but I want to bump up those numbers for days camped in 2009. We cant let life get us down! God bless.

Live life to the fullest!!! I get busy and I tend to forget this. Every so often stories like this remind me. I have a young son that was born with multiple defects and I didn't think he was going to live long. He is doing well now and I am greatfull. The point of my rambling is you never know what is going to happen tomorrow. Live for the day and don't sweat the small stuff. Mike, I'm glad your doing better. Keep up your spirits. Every day is a blessing.
