Heat pump and second air conditioner

I have a 2014 35QB4. I am loving it so far but I have a question about a heat pump and second air conditioner.

First, I don't have a second air conditioner but I am wondering if I need it. If I go camping in NC will it get warm enough to need the second air conditioner?

Second, I don't have a heat pump and wondering if it would be good to get one. I was thinking I could put the air conditioner in my main room in the bed room and add a unit with the heat pump in the main room. But, I was wondering if that would do much more than simply having the fireplace running and possibly another small space heater in the bed room.

Thoughts?
