Help I must be blind

I am done looking for my TV Antena, I recently bought a 2017 Forest River Surveyor model 21RBS and you may call me a nut but being a boat Capt I do things a little different. Bought the unit in Sept and not leaving till mid Jan. I have gone thru just about every wire and switch, plumbing and heat and a/c but I still cant find how to raise and lower the TV antena and no their is no crank on the ceiling or one that I can find with all of the manuals and they are so generic its crazy. So if any one has any thoughts or an idea where it may be let me know until then I will be sitting in or under it educating myself on how a land yacht works

A photo of the antenna would help as there are several models used on FR products. Many do not raise or lower and others do not rotate.

I can't find any listing for a 2017 Surveyor 21rbs but at any rate, being a 2017, it might have a King Jack antenna that doesn't need to be raised or lowered.

Should be a 201RBS.

The Surveyor 201RBS does have a King Jack antenna and there should be a way to rotate it. As with any antenna that does not raise, the AC and anything else projecting from the roof will block the signals from reaching it. The digital OTA broadcast signal is very susceptible to blockage from trees, hills, tall buildings and mountains. As with any antenna the higher and closer to the transmitting tower it is the better the reception will be.

Friends of ours had a 2017 RPod and it had a regular antenna THAT DID NOT CRANK UP, nor ROTATE.

It was awful and they could not pick up much of anything on it. They ended up not liking the wet bath and traded up to another RPod and it has the KingJack antenna. It picks up well.

I have the same model, it has a "multi-directional" antenna. No raising or turning. I don't think it's as good as the older type, but at least I don't have to remember to take it down.

if you can see the antenna on the roof just go inside below it and there you should see a way to rotate it . or it maybe multi directional and there is no need to rotate

Hey Capt. I have a 2019 201rsb the ant.on mine is on ceiling right inside the door it is aimable but you don't have a up and down crank. It is a King and mine works great. These are great little campers. We love ours. Hope this helps. From a Chief Engineer.

Here is my suggestion, get a ladder, get on or at least up to the roof, take a photo of the antenna and post it here.

Until we see what you have ,we can only surmise and can not offer any definitive help to you.
