Help! Mice left a mess!

I just bought a 2001 Class C Four Winds MH with a cabover bunk, I bought a new bed for the back and protector to encapsulate, I clean deodorize, washed all the cases on the couches and when I went inside the other day the mice had a party. Left droppings everywhere, and some kind of bloody stains on top of my new protector. I have to start over. Talking about feeling itchy and creepy. Just wanted to share my nightmare. My real question grand daughter wants to sleep in the cabover bunk, (when we, if we ever go camping, after I, if I ever finish cleaning). Is there a way to take that giant drawer where the mattress is, to clean? When I open the drawer, I can see under the cabin, there is dust. Now with the mice, I'm concern they might be some urine or feces in there too. How do I clean underneath.

since your Four Winds is not a Forest River product, not sure if anyone is familiar with your Class C model.
if you posted pics of what you're asking about, maybe an owner of a FR Class C could help.

You are welcome to stay.

If you do decide to stay you most likely would want a name change. Shoot me a Private Message and I will change it.

There are threads in here about Mice. Those little guys get in any small opening. First thing is seal up any openings, vents, etc so they can't get in. Some swear by Bounce (has to be bounce) drier sheets, moth balls (not pleasant on the inside of living space) and mint oil as deterrents. We had a mouse or mice once, but only in furnace. I think they came in through exhaust, which now gets sealed off every fall, for example.
Re cleaning: wear gloves. Careful not to break skin.
