Help with 19RR TV install

Just bought a new 2017 19RR, and am considering installing a 32"LCD TV (weight just under 18 LBS), on a full Motion TV wall mount, to the right side rear of the trailer (where factory supplied mount is located).
The mentioned TV would never be on the mount, when trailer is transported, only used when set up at campground, etc..
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has set up a TV like this (or similar), and appreciate any advice/comments.
Thanks in advance.

I relocated my 32" tv location in my 26rr from the front of the trailer by the door to the rear. I put it on an articulating mount. It stays on permenatly. I use straps and Velcro to keep in place while traveling. Over 5000 miles and it has not fallen off or moved. Click image for larger version

rmac04401 thanks for the reply, with photo! Some questions: you mounted your tv Mount into the side walk of the trailer? Did you just use a stud finder, and mount into studs? How long screws did you use? Do you recall the model number of the mount you used? Very nice install!
My concern is weight! Will just under 18 lbs be too heavy for the space I'll be mounting it in. (Between the rear door and the ramp).
Thanks again!

1 1/2 screws I believe. Yes screwed into stud. One mount I returned to Amazon because of the weight. I will try and find The mount I installed. It was from Walmart. "Full motion tv wall mount for 10"-50" tv with tilt and swivel articulating arm and hdmi cable. Less than $15.

My last camper before this one I used a 1 inch board to span the studs then screwed into board because stud did not line up in middle of section I wanted to mount. The stud on this one lined up nicely.

Rmac04401 thank you, again! I'm going to check out Wal Mart, and see if I can find that Mount! How long ago did you get it?

Probably end of 2015. That is when we picked up camper. I looked at Walmart.com and they have it. 12.99. Just looked it up. Can't seem to attach the link.

My situation was a little bit different in that I have the Faux Rock, however, the backer behind the entertainment center and factory mount hold my 32" TV just fine. I did however install my mount so the TV stand also sits on the shelf of the entertainments center. I do leave mine attached all the time and I have been on some treacherous roads where everything came out of the cupboards and the TV survived just fine.

Here is a link to a video I did about the TV installation in my Cherokee 264L.

I did look on the Walmart.com site and found the Ematic Model EMW 4001 full Motion mount for $17.99. From the looks of it, it MIGHT be what I'm looking for! Will place an order tomorrow, with pickup at local store. Free shipping is a good thing!
Thanks for that information!
BTW! The VIDEO was great also!

The $12.99 mount extends to 9.06", where the $17.99 mount extends to 15.7". With where I got to mount it, I think I'll try the longer extension one, and hey, if it don't fit, I'll go back to Plan B!

Glad you found what you needed. Everyone's needs are different. I enjoy making my trailer fit our lives instead of us to the trailer. Love seeing other people's modifications.

Are you planning to buy the TV or is one you now own? Reason I ask is, you wrote LCD in the op. Buying new, I would buy an LED as they are lighter and the popular brands for rv's are built for travel.

The trailer should be configured to make it enjoyable for the whole family. I have some ideas on things I want to do (add a shelf here, a mirror there etc.) and have time before the camping season kicks in.
Great to have a site like this, and people like you, to pose questions to those that have experienced the same concern.
Happy Camping!

Oh course eBay offers a bunch but best selection may be at Monoprice.com. I wanted one like the factory uses with a lock back mechanism and found one lots cheaper than the MorRyde brand but still paid a bunch to get one that locks to the wall position.

Costco has a Samsung 24 in that has an outside power supply at 14.5 V DC that runs just fine on 12 vdc. With a coupon I caught ours for $118. Works great.

I caught a good price on my 22" LCD (not LED) also! Free! Bought the other 32" LCD some time ago, just under $100. Next TV's for the trailer will be LED, but won't get those, until whit I got goes deep six!
