I use my 4G/Verizon Android phone for a mobile hotspot (luckily I still have truly unlimited data) to power my computer, Google Nexus 7 tablet and my wife's iPhone.

We use our unlimited Verizon LTE on the Android Galaxy Nexus with PDA.net wireless hotspot and a 4G Wilson Sleek for weak signal areas.

Plenty of no cell phone service areas in VA & NC as well......... I can't get a signal at my house either........Tried most providers including Verizon & US Cell....but away from home.....camping I could care less about having the internet. Have to have Satelltie internet at home...........
