Question Hi i am new here, have negotiating questions

WE ARE LOOKING AT A V-LITE 26WRB FROM OUR LOCAL DEALER. HE CAN ORDER IT, BUT IN TERMS OF NEGOTIATION, DO WE STILL HAVE THE POWER TO NEGOTIATE AS WELL AS IF IT WERE ON HIS LOT??? ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH DOWN TO COME OFF MSRP???? Thanks everyone in advance!! Cindy and Bob

Compare his price with someone like RVwholesalers.com. This should give you an idea if your dealer is asking way too much.

You can always negotiate, and I don't care if you're talking to the President of the U.S. As long as your feet work, you are free to walk away, and if that doesn't work, fake a heart attack and leave in an ambulance.

Dealers will sell a "factory order" considerably below what they would ask for the same model sitting on their lot, but ONLY if you are smart enough to grind 'em for it. This is because with a factory order they have a "pass-thru" assured sale, money up front and delivery to owner immediately upon receipt of the unit from the factory.
