Hibernation Season Ended Today

Today the Windjammer appeared after 5 months hibernating...like seeing a long lost friend. Opening the doors to the sweet smell of peppermint. Now its time to summerize ( sounds better then de-winterizing) and get ready to put all the winter planning into motion. One thing we did this winter was to add a 30amp box so we can plug in the TT.

I thought we might get lucky with an early spring. Not so much. Supposed to get 1-4 inches of snow on top of a lawn that needs cutting

Sure would like to see some of that global warming.

Weather report for Sun/Mon is 2-4" of white stuff but it will melt fast....no shoveling. Night time temp around 22F glad I didn't drain the pink stuff yet.

We just turned the furnace on its lowest setting and turned on the tank heaters. Dropping to 28 degrees for a couple of hours tonight. Hopefully the water lines don't freeze. The waste water tanks are empty. We put fresh water tank to 2/3 full. Hoping more water there will retain some heat. We may need that water if this wind knocks our power out! No electric means no water pump for the house. We could be camping in the side yard! Hello springtime!

So jealous! It will be a while yet for us up here in the great white north. Seriously congratulations and have fun. Summer-izing is way more fun than winter-izing

I took advantage of a beautiful morning and got my new electric tongue jack installed. Just got it done before the snow started. Sigh...
