Hiking with our Twins in Acadia
The wifey just put up a nice post about hiking with our twins at

Lively Little Campers

We were really excited to finally do some real hiking with our kids in Maine. I would love to hear about some of your favorite family hikes.

My family loves Maine. I went to Boy Scout camp for a week in the Adirondacks with my son this summer. My wife and daughter packed up and did the 600 mile trip to Acadia while we were gone. Some of our favorite hike have been there.

Beautiful park. We have camped and hiked there. Enjoyed the climbs with the steel ladders on the rock faces!! Also nearly got KILLED there! In a tent and a lightning strike hit a tree about 100 feet from our tent. It blew the tree to smithereens and scared the you know what out of us.
