Holes Drilled in Trailer

Picked up a new 2016 Palomini TT from Camping World in Akron. Noted two 3/16" holes drilled approx 12" horizontally apart in the upper left rear corner of the body. Looks as if there was (or going to be) some bracket or mount installed. The dealer covered the holes with 2" scotch tape and said the factory had drilled them by mistake, that they were documented on the trailers record and that they would be repaired by my local Camping World Service Department. No further information was known or provided. Anyone know what they might have been for?

Over drilled something inside the trailer.. Did you take this home? I would have been telling them to fix or I am gone!

Yes, the dealer would never get my name on anything before I left.

$30,000 RV and a Scotch Tape repair... Oh no! Homey don't play that way!

Imagine that, a Camping World actually fixing something. Be interested to see how they plan on fixing that. My guess is some epoxy and a new sticker to cover it.

My position would be that their mistakes on my new trailer are NOT my problem. I also would have walked away from this trailer, at least until it was repaired as I explain below. To fix this correctly, those holes need to be filled with the proper fiberglass resin/fiber material, sanded, and painted to match the rest of the trailer---blended, not spot painted.
That's the repair you need to INSIST on, do not accept some sloppy patch/paint job repair!!!

Would have, could have, should have. It's a done deal, now to get it fixed is the OP's situation.
