Holy sidewind Batman!



Wonder is a sway control would've helped him out any since he was just hauling on ball only.....

I don't think sway control would have helped here......the wind plum blew the trailer over. That is 1 long trailer.

Short wheel base? It is hard to tell if it is a long box, but I don't know what could be much longer than a crew cab truck? They may have had use for sway control, as it was moving around. But it did appear that it was just far too windy to be out on the road, a lesson for all of us.

Red face I stand corrected

(serves me right for not watching till the very end and having the audio off).

That truck is a one ton duallie. Nothing could have prevented that flip in those winds. My old Reese WD hitch has some rotation protection due to the T-shaped thrust arms but that was a very long camper.

No amount of sway control could have helped in that situation.

He is lucky that tongue bent over and the truck stayed on the ground, could have been worse and if it was a 1/2 ton it may have been....
