It is tempting to say it is covered under warranty let them handle it, but if you can do it yourself, it saves a trip to the dealer and back and also eliminates the possibility of your RV being damaged while sitting on a very crowded dealer lot. Not to mention, that you are sure it is done the way you want it first time.
I usually do all my own work, but since it was in for warranty repair figured I'd add it to their list of repairs. It also fell within the 90 day sealing and adjustment period. So, it was their responsibility to do it under warranty.
How hard is it to replace the wiper seal?
