Need to know if you have 30 amp or 50 amp service or what you will be running when on generator. Air conditioner? Elect water heater, other? Are you wanting everything to operate while on generator? It all depends on what you need or want while on genny.

Your generator will have no problems running the air along with lights and smaller stuff in your 27rr. Looks like an open frame contractor style which I use a similar size champion to run my 26RR when boondocking. Runs ac and even used the microwave at the same time as long as the compressor on the ac isn't kicking in at the same time.

Your 4850 is likely max output for starting and should supply around 4000 watts continious which as said already, you should have no problems. Just remember, 30 amp is 3,300 watts which is the max power you have at a 30 amp outlet, so you can run anything you would run when not on a genny. You're genny supplies as much or more than you can run on your trailer with 30 amp capacity.

30 amps is 3,600 watts.

If calculated at 120 volts, yes, it is 3,600 watts. I posted with a calculation of 110 volts which is 3,300 watts as a lower end power usage. You are correct and power is typically ran at 120 volts or near that.

Champion Generator

I purchased this generator two years ago. It has worked well for my 27rr. It is not a Honda. But the price can't be beat and it has worked flawlessly. I leave it set up in my truck bed, have a an extension for the 30amp hook up and it is perfect. I have run it mostly in truck stops, and walmarts while we are overnight camping. Never a complaint or problem. In fact it is kind of soothing to go to sleep to. Usually there are other semi's with their units running all night also. I got mine for right around $400. I own one of those noisemakers.
It's fine for truck stops and Wal-Marts and auto races, but NOT for campgrounds.

It exceeds noise limits at every campground I've been to.

That's why I leave my Champion at home and use the Honda 2000i in the campground.
