Just because you saw it in Wally World does not make it factory made.

I push a button and the electric fire place lights up. Done and no smoky clothes smelling up the camper.

This is also a something to remember if you're the type of person that has a "junk drawer" full of stuff including old batteries. Just saw a video on Facebook about a guy that had his entire house go up in flames because he had a paper bag full of batteries sitting in his garage.

Wow, I am doing a drawer sweep, now.

To each there own.... When it's time for a fire I get out the big boy torch. I would much rather have a fire and relax then mess with starting it. It's a bad pic of the torch but you get the idea.

Isn't it all cheating unless your rubbing sticks together to build a fire. I like cheating and I've used the ole road flare a few times. 😳

BUILD a fire

It occurs to me we have all been focused on how to START a fire when the question was how to BUILD a fire. I like the teepee style...put your wax/sawdust chunk down, build a little teepee of twigs around & over it, place about four logs, log cabin style, around that. Build losely so the fire will draw air. Then light the wax/sawdust brick and watch her go. Add logs as needed. Have the marshmallows handy.
