How do you know if you're a FROG?

To me...you're a FROG if you plan on camping with another group of FROG's (for 4+ months); then you're notified that the campsites are flood and you immediately move to other sites (so you can still go camping); then in rains 1-3" after you arrive; and finally, you stand out in the rain around the campfire!

We're either a true FROG's or nuts!

So happy to be camping with 4 FROGS, plus 1 this weekend at Coles Creek Campground, COE at Carlyle Lake, regardless of the weather!

I was going to say we're true FROGs, but then I thought about it. Ralph got a campfire going for us yesterday that lasted about an hour before the rain drove us all inside. Later in the afternoon when the rain stopped he rekindled that fire from a few embers and we enjoyed another campfire for about an hour before more rain drove us all inside. That evening Ralph once again was up for the challenge and managed to get another fire going for us. Do I need to tell you what happened? we were forced to abandon the campfire because of rain at 8:45 P.M.

I think I might have to vote that we're true FROGs that are slightly nuts.

The forecast for our location isn't looking good but we're all still here.

Despite the rain, we are still enjoying the trip (at least I am). And I really want to thank Ralph for the campfires. Campfires are my favorite part of being at a campground. Thanks Ralph. Adrienne, I think you should share your great Walmart purchase and why you had to buy it.

I get the sense that to be a real FROG, you need to be a bit on the eccentric side Like flood loving, rain admiring kind of eccentric

I think you've hit it on the head! At least I believe the group at Carlyle are a "bit eccentric"!

Well, when we left STL it was nice and warm. I knew the weather was going to be a bit "damp" and cold, soooo I forgot my jeans. The local Wal-Mart had jeans on clearance for $5. I now have two pair of jeans to keep in "The Cottage". Guess it all worked out for the best.
