Mostly for my knowledge I wanted to see if it would fit or not easily. Granted I coiled up my 30" power cord first but didn't have any trouble at all getting it into the bag with room to spare.

But have to admit I like the idea of a MH too.

The whole 50 foot hose winds up to about 14" dia. by 2" thick. Mine (a Toro) is almost 20 years old and still not leaking. The only caveat is that you must lay them on the ground with no sharp bends or they will kink and shut off the flow.

There are several brands available, but be careful. Not all of them are rated safe for drinking water. This one is.
I like this little guy... And price is good too. When my hose gives out this is going in the camper.

So, 50 feet of hose spread out all over the campsite is a good idea, how?

You make a decorative pattern on the ground, make an obstacle course, tripping hazard

Where I camp 50 feet is often required to reach the hookup. I have two 25' hoses and had to borrow 10' to make the hookup on my last trip at Lincoln State Park in Indiana. I guess that's why 50' does t sound like a lot to me.

I got one of those big Tupperware boxes that are built to slide under your bed. It holds everything just right and has a cover to keep out the creepy crawlies.

I gave up on wrestling a 50 ft stiff hose and got 2 25 ft. Most of the time I just need the one.

What is that black thing? You cut the lid off an oil drip pan??

Looks like he made it out of two oil drip pans screwed together, opening to opening, with the bottom cut out of one.

Pretty cool idea.

I try to keep it simple, Okay DW says I'm cheap. I use a 5 gallon bucket and throw all my water fittings in it also.

Herk, you are correct, that is exactly what I used. I did add a plastic chrome door edge molding around the top to keep from scratching or scraping my delicate skin.

Still have it if someone wants to pay shipping or drop by the house and pick it up. FREE!

If mostly boondock, so I usually only use it to fill my tank. On the rare occasion when I have a water hookup, I circle it around or under the rig. In my 19' class B, storage space is at a real premium.

I am in the process of getting a Palomino Puma 253-FBS (27' 5er), but even with all the extra space, I will probably stick with my flat hose.
